Starting at Jefferson Barracks in 2007, Linda Ferguson, a mother of a serviceman, saw the need in the military community. As Director of the Pantry, she is the driving force for our volunteers to help our military community.
The Palozola Foundation Founders:
Forces for Food is a project of its affiliate foundation, The Palozola Foundation, which was founded by Maria Palozola and Sally Palozola Cherre. Maria Palozola is a nationally known Golf Professional, Owner of St. Louis Golf Lessons and was the Lead Instructor for the Golf Channel Academy with Maria Palozola in St. Louis, MO. Together with her sister Sally Palozola Cherre, they decided to take action on the longtime dream of developing a foundation that could help veterans. By supporting other veterans, they will honor their Father Leonard J. Palozola who fought in WW2 (Battle of the Bulge) and Grandfather Leo J. Palozola who fought in WW1, both who of whom loved to golf and their nephews who fought in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
